Pro usb

Hello everyone,

I currently have Premiere and Digital Director with a USB module. Will I get an improvement in sound by connecting with a Pro USB module

if you search here on the forum you will see that the Digital Director erases the differences between the two USBs

Indeed. You can add Pro USB if you want to move your source further away from the system. Otherwise, the USB in the Premier Director is an excellent setup!

Assuming I have one source, streamer connected via USB, can I connect it to the Pro @USB without a director, or does the director provide additional benefits?

The director provides the same isolation, but also has more powerful processing and better digital filters. It is an improvement over just the Pro USB option :+1:

Hi daniel
I have the option of getting a Pro USB module from a friend that doesn’t need a module. Do you recommend replacing the USB module to pro or is there no point?

In my listening AB’s I haven’t heard a discernable difference. We do have users who swear there is an improvement to be had there. So, it would certainly be up to you if you wanted to give it a shot. Most of our products still ship with the Pro USB as more isolation is usually better :+1:
