Differentiating the displayed labelling of two identical input cards

Hi Daniel

I have two identical SP-DIF MSB input cards that I use in my Reference DD. I use both Optical and DIG inputs to connect the Set Top Box and the TV on each Tos (Optical) and an Oppo 105 player and the Accuphase tuner on each RCA (Digital).
When I toggle through the inputs, there is no distinction when Tos or RCA is dsiplayed on the front screen.
May I suggest a slight improvement to be able to distinguish between the 2 Tos and 2 RCA inputs ? Can the SW be updated to recognize when the system hosts two identical input cards, to label the Tos and RCA displays of the first input card, for ex, Tos1, RCA1 (or Tos X, RCA X where X is the A,B,C or D position at the back of the DD) and Tos2, RCA2 for the second card, etc…
Would it make sense if easy to implement on a subsequent FW update ?

Hello Abascal,

Thank you for this suggestion. I will keep this in mind next time we are doing a major firmware update and implement if possible. In theory nothing is preventing it and I like your suggestion of just having the number match the input slot.
