The Sentinel DAC Foot and Base Metal Bottom Dimensions

@Daniel_Francis , can you please show the foot and base metal dimensions of the Sentinel DAC like the diagram for the M500 amplifier’s below?

Also show the profile and contours of the bottom of the base metal plate for the Sentinel DD, Analog Converter and Powerbase.

These information may be useful for deciding whether the Sentinel base metal bottom can sit directly on some after market isolation footers like the Stillpoints Ultra footers and component stand

Ok. I just saw the Sentinel DAC Foot Dimensions on the MSB website.

@Daniel_Francis , it would be beneficial to know whether the base metal plate bottom is flat or contoured with curves.
Thanks.

There is a large flat area on the bottom of the Sentinel that is roughly 9in (229mm) wide and roughly 12in (305mm) deep. The area I marked in red is roughly 12in (305mm) wide but clearly interferes with heatsink area so it is important to make sure this area is not blocked for airflow purposes depending on how large the supports are.

We also sell a foot delete kit for the Sentinel if you want to swap the standard pointed foot to have a flat area for the supports at the outer corners.

Thank you very much @Kevin_Turnquist

@Easyglider , I am working on the amplifier currently. When I have the new basemetal design locked in, I will share the relevant dimensions. Hopefully soon!

For early planning, you could use the M500 foot placement, but add 2.5"
to the width dimension. So the 4 feet would be center-to-center 14.23" wide x 19.75" deep. THIS MAY CHANGE, but is a pretty safe starting point to plan around.
