Hi all, I am seeking recommendations through your experience as to what stands and platforms have worked well for the S500/M500. Do you also replace the stock Viton footers with other brands ?

Mine sits on a Solidsteel Hyperspike HY Amp Stand A. Fits great. I left the stock feet.

I see the MSB amp can sit on either 3 or 4 footers. I presume that the 4-footer configuration is more desirable. Interestingly in the 3-footer configuration, the third one at the back is positioned close to the middle of the amp.. rather than to the edge of the back.
The 3 foot configuration allows the amp to be placed on shorter racks or stands. The third foot is moved forward as most of the weight is by the front of the amplifier. The front of the amp contains the two massive transformers. So this configuration actually balances the overall weight nicely.
I prefer the 4 foot configuration for stability and stance however. This option is purely for convenience of setup.

I have stands for my amps, but they are there because 1. Aesthetics, 2. I just don’t like electronics directly on the floor and will avoid it whenever I can. They aren’t quite done yet… they need a little touch-up and have the finish applied, and get their front faces attached. But at least they are wood so the will absorb at least a little of the vibration in the floor, though that is not their intent.

Has anyone tried HRS amp stands with the S500/M500?
If yes, would you share your experience?
We actually just got a set here in the listening room. Not much I can say about any sonic improvements if there are any because I haven’t had a chance to listen and we never had a real comparison setup to truly A/B them. But they do look nice and they fit the 500 series amps very well. I can post some pictures of them a little later today if I get a chance.

Snagged some photos for you. Our stands are a bit wider to accommodate upcoming Sentinel Amps 
As to the performance, we have entered more and more of a political dilemma condoning and approving products. It is a bit unfair to our dealers. So, what I will say is we love the brand, product, and have chosen to buy and use them! I will let that speak for us. I can always get behind a quality American made brand

May I ask what are the footers under the M500 amps in the photos? I have Viton footers for my M500 but mine look smaller .
