I know there is a delete foot option, any thoughts on extra high feet to improve airflow for those of us that have to stack?
Next to create more airflow or lightness in sound, one could use for example RevOpods or try cardas myrtle wood blocks underneath the Power Supply and if present also the Digital Director (small version).
I use RevOPods on all chassis just for this reason…air flow.

Honestly, those RevOPods look great on the Cascade DAC and add the extra height. We probably won’t be making a non-standard version of the feet anytime in the near future, but that delete kit was made for this very reason

I was thinking something much simpler , with the diameter and material matching the existing foot so it just adds height no vibration absorption needed as I am using the existing foot just adding height.

Well yep, that would certainly work. I would look for an option with a short threaded stud if possible, otherwise it might stick out an uneven amount. Less than 10mm, 5-7 is ideal.
Or use a set screw tight into the chassis, then a threaded sleeve onto that stud. Then, foot into the sleeve. This is also ideal.
yes both would work but it it was an option from MSB I would know the finishing and diameter would be a perfect match, hence my original question

Well, this is one of the most reasonable lengths yet… so may be possible. What configuration is this setup in?
@Daniel_Francis the one where I convince my wife that we are ripping appart the fireplace. But realistically the one I have to implement when I upgrade my Cascade to the Sentinel (which is hopefully sometime soon)

Well my choices are simple 1) Rip appart the living room fireplace, make compartments (well ventilated) for the MSB Sentinel Amps, and possibly the Niagra 7000’s and … 2) try to convince her we can raise the stereo rack by 12-16 inches 3) not upgrade to the Sentinel
- Seems like the least amount of work, but also the least amount of fun.
- Seems like the medium amount of work, but much more fun.
- Oh boy… maximum effort.
