Here is picture of my HiFi stereo system based around a Reference DAC and Reference DD.
Good day from France
(and yes, we do follow the US elections here in France)
Hi Pascal,
Good looking system there. You’ve got a lot of technology packed into that rack!
Dan
Ah! And the polished silver Reference DAC. Very few of those were ever made! Nice collection.
I am sure the US elections must be very entertaining these most recent years

Indeed THE polished silver Reference DAC. I am so proud to have this rare version more so as, I believe, it is the first Reference DAC delivered to France I was told.
By the way, same for Reference DD, It was the first DD shipped to France.
Now that the Olympics and Paralympics games are over, the US elections are the next highly visible (and entertaining) subject on the media.
Cool system sir
@Henrik : thanks
@Dan : indeed, two beautiful Oracle devices, a CD Transport 2000 and a Delphi VI Turntable surrounding the MSB Reference DAC + DD), an ML52 Mark Levinson preamplifier, Accuphase Tuner 1000, and another key element of the system, the Trinnov Magnitude performing the room correction and the cross over function for the three way active speakers.
Ok
found it.
I’m guessing the systems sounds better when trumps face leaves the screen…..
Please lets keep politics out of Audio forums, there is enough craziness these days going around the world! ![]()
Sorry about that!
Update : a Cascade replaced my former Reference DAC + DD, last August.
An SACD/CD player from PS Audio jointes the band.
The Oracle CD2000 transport underwent a double repair (change of the venerable Philips CD Pro which died after 24 years of service - respect !, - to a refurbished CD Pro 2 + repair of the electronics with new components, ready to go for another two more decades of future service.
The two ML52 elements were split on two separate racks.
Change of the former feet to new wooden feet in standing timber, as well as two wooden boards under the Cascade and the K50, of the same standing timber.
HCT resonators on the wall. New fuses in the PS Audio and the Cascade.
What else !
Amazing setup you have got there!
Are the racks and platforms all custom made?
May we know what new fuses you used for your Cascade and PS Audio?
Thanks
The racks are basic LOVAN racks which I found second hand, years ago.
The platforms are indeed custom made and are made to fit the Lovan’s.
see bottom face : the Wood has been carved out
in Finish birch for all of them except the two under the Cascade and the K50. The Wood is standing timber. (Bois debout in French) :
I used
2 fuses Slow Blow 5x20mm SR PINK 240V for the Cascade DAC and DD
1 fuse Slow Blow 5x20mm SR PURPLE 240V for the PS Audio
Stunning work! ![]()
