Hi, have you encountered a long delay of between 5 and 10 seconds until the start of playback via PROISL? I tested via two computers and there is the same result.
I play via a computer with Quboz El Premier. This has also happened in the past via Tidal.
I reported the same issue so you aren’t alone. Qobuz beta and stable via renderer v2 but it’s not consistent in guessing less than 5% of the time

This happens to me with Qobuz after a pause or fresh start. But not usually when going directly from song to song. What are the details for how it is happening to you?

You’re right, this happens mostly when playing a new album each time, but it only happens when I use PROISL. When I switch to the RCA digital output, it plays immediately in any option I choose. This happens in any other music player.
This happens to me too, while playing streaming content from my Aurender N30 whose USB output is connected to an external MSB ProUSB dongle (‘V3’ sticker underneath w/ the latest firmware) with its optical output entering the ProISL input module on my Sentinel DAC’s DD. Typically this very long delay happens when the Aurender is paused, and play is resumed. I’m unsure whether the long pause is related to the type of source files, as they vary tremendously from Redbook CD 16/44.1kHz PCM to DSD 4x/8x. More extensive testing may be required to isolate correlation, if any, to the type of files being played back.
I am not sure whether this is an issue relating to the Pro ISL/ Pro USB per ser. I have both and can connect my iPhone to the Pro USB adapter (also “V3”) without any delays or other problems.

I’ve never thought about directly connecting my phone to the Pro USB. I suppose it could handle almost any form of audio output from the usb c connection, but do you have a preferred software/app you use when connecting this way?
@Kevin_Turnquist I am obviously not using iPhone or iPad for critical music listening. Like many of us, I use a Roon Server for playing locally stored music files or stream Qobuz to the DAC (alternatively, I use Qobuz Connect). But using Pro USB I can stream Apple Music or YouTube sound (I don’t have a TV) or any other streaming app‘s sound to the DAC. It is more occasional. I also have to admit that I happened to get the Pro USB by mistake, since I ordered the regular USB input module for the described purpose. My dealer, however, could not imagine someone ordering the technically inferior solution and came back with Pro USB. And now I like it not only for the sound quality, but even more so for the very long (and cheap) optical cable runs. So I can sit with the Apple device „far away“ from the system.

Totally understandable. I was mainly intrigued for the convenience factor as well. Here in the studio I often need to get an audio signal to a product just so it can display some sort of information on the display for photos and videos, but also its a simplified way of getting music when I want to listen while I work or I need to serve a product firmware update without a computer in reach.
