I need to make the ‘Invert Phase’ as default so that I don’t have to set it each time after power-on. But it doesn’t work by following the user guide below.
Kindly may anybody tell how to make it?

This has been removed. The Phase Invert and Video Mode are always temporary settings. The main reason it was removed is both phase invert and video mode was getting enabled and saved by accident resulting in poor performance.
If you always need the phase inverted in your system, the easiest solution would be to swap the speaker wires on your binding posts.

Yes, if you have the latest firmware. All DAC firmware has been updated for video mode and phase invert to be a temporary setting when selected on the remote. The Latest version of the Premier DAC manual and firmware is available here.
Thank you Kevin, I realized that when I looked in the updated manual for Premier.
No problem, the manual was apparently incorrect before that latest version. Some how that section did not get updated in the Premier manual when it was added in the firmware so thank you for bringing it to my attention.
About firmware upgrade I need the old wav format. Can you or somebody else convert the flac file to wav?

Hallo Jonathan,
a question about what the display show when you use the phase invert button on the remote. In the latest manual it says like this:
”4 Phase Invert Toggles phase invert (Ø - on display)”.
On my Premier from 2019 it still shows i on display . So the display will not change after installing latest firmware?

If you need the phase inverted by default you can always reverse the wires on your speakers. I use phase invert dynamically for every recording. The phase of most recordings is relatively random, except for very old recordings which are nearly all in correct phase. Sometimes you have to choose between the vocals or instruments being in correct phase.

Thank you, but how about what symbol is showing up on the display after firmware upgrade: i or ø?
Om my dac from 2919 it shows i and I guess it will show ø when the dac is newer?

This is the symbol on the remote and the Cascade. For the Premier DAC it shows a ‘i’ on the display.
