Always choose THE ONE/Highway 1.
The drive from LA to Santa Cruz County is absolutely worth it, especially if you have the time to stay on the coast.
And somehow, my impression of the MSB Palisade reminds me of visiting Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park: fresh, open, and incredibly natural.
The imaging, resolution, and retrieval of fine detail are superb, but what impressed me most is how effortless everything feels. Nothing sounds forced or overly analytical. It simply presents more information while keeping the music alive.
The MSB team has already covered almost everything on their YouTube channel, so I won’t repeat all the technical details here. But here’s the BTS:
With UAC 2.0, an iPhone or iPad can now connect directly to MSB’s Pro USB, Pro ISL, and Quad USB solutions without installing additional firmware or drivers.
An iPad can also work surprisingly well as a simple music server, creating an almost hands-free, plug-and-play Qobuz setup:
iPad = Server
iPhone = Remote
Just log into the same account on both devices.
It’s an extremely simple setup, and the sound quality is genuinely enjoyable.
I can’t spoil too much more right now, but the Palisade feels like a hidden gem at the moment—only because they are back ordered.you guys can tell me More impressions.
