Help with Modular MQA USB: What firmware is installed?

Hi everyone, I have a system composed as follows: DAC Reference with DD, Antipoded K50 streamer, Renderer and I2S digital inputs.

These days I have been testing an Oladra Presence, which as you know, has only a USB output, so Luca Righetti passed me a Modular MQA USB input that was installed without problems and recognized by the Oladra (see image).

The Lyrion software recognizes the dac correctly and everything sounds perfect.

The problem arises with Roon that, sometimes, does not recognize the dac correctly and exposes it to me as a “New device” and loses the previous configuration.

The Renderer module is always recognized perfectly. Thinking of a problem with the firmware of the USB module, I downloaded the latest version of the firmware available on the site: version 1.2.

But… but… but… when i launch the updater it tells me that the firmware installed is version 2.2 !! see image

The Windows driver panel also gives me the same information:

At this point I ask: did the module install the latest firmware version? Why is it not made available on the site? Or do I still have to update even if the downloaded version is lower?

Thank you

Francesco

PS: sorry for the mistakes but I’m using Google Translate because my English is poor poor poor…

I confirmed this with @Jonathan_Gullman. You do have the latest firmware version. V2.2 is correct. Thanks for pointing this out, I will get the website updated ASAP. I will remove the 1.2 download file for now.

Hi Kevin, please check as it’s still downloadable.

I removed the image link and the download for both MQA versions. Should be fine now. Other versions of the USB may still be incorrect, but I am working with Jonathan to get the correct files available.
