I would like the personal opinion from anyone who has listened to the Magico S-Sub or the REL No. 32, I have read many reviews but I really want to hear from people that have listened to them
Reporting back to my fellow MSB (owers/user/???)
Several people said the same the Magico sounds great and is easy to adjust but it’s DSP driven, same with the Paragon and they generally prefered the natural sound of the REL.
The 32 goes deeper but the 31 seems faster, and in my case I simply can’t esthetically get away with the 32 so faster and better integration plus the fact they can blend better made the 31 a winner.

Curious, the 31 and 32 seem aesthetically the same, am I missing something?
Size 
The 31 is 435mm tall, 638mm wide 720mm deep which is large by all accounts the 32 is 540mm tall, 743mm wide and 816 mm deep which is giant!

I did and it’s impressive but my wife killed it just after I asked “honey what do you think about moving the sofa out from the wall by several feet”
But realistically it’s not suitable for my layout due to the side firing design, it’s the same reason I didn’t look at several speaker brands.

Hehe, gotcha. Without a scale in the photos, I didn’t see that difference right away.
I have two of the new updated S-Subs, 2024 model with the added digital display and touch screen on the back. I believe they are a little larger than the last ones too. I’ve also had the Rels. The Magico sound great, very fast and have far more output energy than the Rels. The parametric EQ, plus the tuning software, when used with REW, which takes some time to get the hang of it but the bass is fantastic. You can tune/compensate for nodes and resonances and get a very smooth in room curve. IMHO they out class the Rel by a long way.
That’s the good stuff. The not so good is they are really big. Wide and tall.
If you have an understanding spouse you’ll be just fine. Mine are in the living room, they stand out like sore thumbs, but my wife enjoys the music as well so I’m good.

Thanks for the feedback, sadly size was the deciding factor as my wife said nope. So Rel No 31’s is a compromise
