Can the feet be removed and what is the thread dimension, In my new rack I am loosing the Isocaoustic Titan’s at the bottom of the rack so need something for the Cascade, I am thinking IcoAccousic GAIA NEO or DELOS or Oreo, but not sure how much better they are compared to the built in feet.
@Peter.Bomberg , yes, you can remove the feet.
The thread call out is M10x1.5 for the Cascade DAC.
Let us know what you find that works with the Cascade.
To remove the feet, please watch this guide:
The real question is would replacing them with GAIA II Neo be an improvement? or suspending them using OREA Bordeaux’s?
We have designed feet we are quite happy with, but we won’t go out of our way to prevent folks from trying out other options. As you know, there are a million and one audiophile tweaks out there… all part of the industry. Perhaps there are other owners out there who have tried.
I think Oreo’s might be something I can play with
Heh, I think autocorrect did you a disservice there. A moment of confusion on my part ![]()
The Cascade feet are also recessed, so replacement feet may sit inside the recess or just outside. Should work either way. Just something to keep in mind.
The tact with which you handle these queries, is commendable!
As a designer/fabricator/’obsessor’ of all solutions relating to ‘Deleterious Resonant Energy Management’, and dealing with the frustration of correcting (most) ‘mechanical interface devices’ (component feet), it fills me with a warm fuzzy feeling when ‘you guys’ put in the effort to ‘get the equation right’. The Cascade ‘feet’ are perfect from all perspectives. Thank you!
