Do any of our Reference or Select DAC users have experience with Arya Audio Labs Revopod footers as a performance “upgrade” from the stock MSB footers?
This is not an inexpensive experiment given the need for three sets of 4 Revopods (12 pieces in total) for a Reference DAC with Reference Digital Director setup.
The foot thread on the Discrete and Premier series product is M6x1.
Here’s an older, but still relevant, video for removing the viton feet. Premier and Discrete are the first instructions in the video.
Roughly $415 per set of 4 for the minis, with M6 adapters. Shipping from UK, and includes VAT. Wonder if a US dealer can do better.
I am not sure the bigger version would fit on the bottom of my premier - the undercarriage extends below the level of the foot mounting, and is pretty close. The mini looks to fit about right, and the outside shell is Delrin, and would not scratch the unit below if you stack them.
Thank you for the heads-up. I had a look again at the positioning of the Viton feet on my Discrete. The full size Revopods won’t work, they will stick out on the sides, front and back.
Not related but if anyone comes across feet (other than Iso Acoustic GAIA Titan) that would work on Estelon Forzas please PM me. I wanted to buy the GAIA Titan Neo but 2 years after being announced they are still not available so …
Thank you very much Kevin for reverting back to me on this with the pics. The Revopods sticking out like that past the edges may be a problem for me. I will think about it. But actually seeing them on demonstration helps me to decide.
25.5mm should fit well. The standard mini viton feet that currently ship on the Discrete DAC are 24.7mm in diameter and they are slightly recessed under the unit.
