Ok, I have to ask as I am trying to redesign my rack and height is a premium, has anyone removed the feet of the M500 and if so what was the result?
@Daniel_Francis and @Dustin_Symanski I am assuming vibration isolation but have you ever tried the amps with and without.
My current Rack is sitting on IsoAcoustic Titan’s but I am going to have to forgo them on the new one.
@Peter.Bomberg ,
A few notes to keep in mind. The 500 series amplifiers dissipate a lot of heat, and do require the clearance under and above for ventilation. If you are planning to squeeze these into a tight space, it may be best to reconsider the configuration.
How much clearance above and below are you planning?
Our most recent generation of 500 series amplifier uses M10x1.5 Threaded feet. Previous generations used M6x1.
3/4” above but they are fully open on the sides with forced air on both sides. The existing M205’s never pass 35 (several hours of playing) they typically hover around 30

That should be just fine, especially with forced air. That makes a world of difference.
temp controller driven whisper fans, not ideal as they are audible at super low volume when you are near them but the simple answer is more volume
