I had the pleasure of meeting you all at the factory in Dec ‘21 and again in March ‘22 when I picked up my Reference DAC and S202 amp. You had given me a factory tour as well, which was very cool.
Well… I pulled the trigger and placed an order on an all-black Cascade in late July/ early Aug through Vince. Needless to say, I am beyond excited! The previous plan was for me to pick it up at the factory in early September during my road trip to California, but Vince informed me there were some manufacturing delays with the Cascade, so I had to cancel my plans. I was bummed because I was looking forward to meeting you all again. But anyway, I have not heard back from him since. I was wondering if you could give me an eta on when my unit will ship? Can’t wait!
One more question: There has been some chatter on this forum around whether to stack the Cascade units or not…. I keep my room at ~72 degrees round the year and the Cascade will sit on an open (uncovered) audio shelf, next to the S202. I am planning on keeping the 3 pieces stacked. Any further advice on that front?
Your DAC is quite literally at the top of my production list. My driver should be picking up your chassis from the anodizer today and we will have your order built in a few days. Will be in touch when it is ready to ship. Thanks again for your patience, new product productions can take a while to get off the ground.

Please feel free to stack the units. Especially at only 72 deg, you won’t have any heating issues or changes to the longevity.
Curious if the all black stealth configuration is popular with other buyers? I think it’ll look cool and nicely complement my S202 which is also all black (all black accents).
Surprisingly, we have only had a few in this configuration. Most folks generally buy what is shown, and our marketing materials favor the Black with Stainless. We will work on getting some photos up next week of the all black configuration and see if that changes
