We are pleased to announce our Network Renderer module is now JPlay certified. This brings verified and bit perfect JPlay functionality to any of our DAC’s that feature the Network Renderer V2 module. This includes:

What is the sound difference with the network renderer using Roon (or something other than JPLAY) vs JPLAY as the end point?

Good question. I haven’t determined a noticeable difference myself, this is just another option. The better our products get, the more similar source to source sounds.
