MSB Technology Unveils Qobuz Connect Integration for V2 Network Renderers
MSB Technology is thrilled to announce that Qobuz Connect is now officially available for all V2 Network Renderers. This major feature update is free and currently live; all renderers will automatically update and enable the service, providing users with immediate access to this new functionality.
Re-engineered for Excellence
Achieving MSB’s standard for sonic performance required a complete retooling of the renderer software platform. By rebuilding the interface from the ground up, our engineering team has created a powerful new foundation that allows us to push development further than ever before. This “from-scratch” approach ensures that the V2 Renderer is not just an update, but a platform that will continue to evolve, with plans to add even more services in the coming months.
Sound Uncompromised
The most remarkable aspect of this implementation is its sonic performance, which now rivals industry-leading transport and server sources. For the first time, a direct streaming service delivers a listening experience that is truly “sound uncompromised” For those looking to simplify their systems without sacrificing quality, the V2 Network Renderer has become a definitive one-stop solution.
Getting Started
For current owners, the setup is seamless:
Download: Install the latest Qobuz application on your device of choice.
Sign In: Log in with an active Qobuz subscription.
Select Output: Open the “Output Sound Device” menu and select the “Qobuz Connect” MSB DAC option.
It is that simple. You are now streaming from a bit-perfect source directly to an MSB-engineered system.
If anyone’s Renderer does not update automatically after being powered on and idle for an hour, please message me directly with your Serial number and we will work on getting it resolved
Minor nit… most audio apps on iPhone lets you adjust the volume with the up/down buttons on the phone, for example Roon. But Quobux/Renderer does not. The slide +/- on the Quobuz app work fine though.
And I use the network 2 output on the Pink Faun to connect to the renderer. So the Quobuz app has to go “through” the Pink Faun to get to the renderer and it works just fine.
Glad to hear it works with the Pink Faun. I will be curious to here your AB results after you spend some time with it. We have found the SQ to be very good so far. It took a complete rebuild of the Renderer to get it to the performance we were happy with.
Ofer, yes, this input is only available for the Renderer V2. It will auto update and be enabled after the renderer is powered on and idle for 30-45 minutes.
I would also recomend updating your DAC code with the new available firmware:

Just tested. This sounds really, really amazing, and extraordinarily convenient. I will of course still use Roon for local file playback, but I don’t see any reason not using Qobuz Connect for most of Qobuz playback.
