Excited to be building again. We have completed the complete re-design from the mark 1 prototype and are approaching the next major milestone of the project. These PCB’s just finished and we are making the casework for them. Metal is in the shop and we will get to start making parts that could end up being final product designs. I had the assembly on the granite slab for some measurements to tune up the mechanical design before it is machined and snapped a few pics to share. I should be able to post updates more frequently now that there is physical progress to show everyone.
Hello Daniel,It’s so exciting and worth looking forward to the Sentinel. Will this product be released at the Munich Audio Show? I can’t wait to book my flight and hotel.
My wallet is already feeling the pain…
Hahaha, well, the current ambition is to have the Sentinel DAC at the Munich show. However, it will not be playing in the system. A piece of equipment at this caliber wouldn’t make sense in show conditions. We are finally moving towards building a finished product, but we won’t rush the design on the account of the show deadline. It will take the time it needs to be done right. Regardless, we should know a lot more by then.
Sounds great. I am planning to go to Las Vegas to attend the NAB Show in April. If I have free time, I hope to visit the factory, see the real Sentinel and take a photo, Haha!
truly exceptional design
Happy to have you stop by!
Visiting the factory is a fascinating experience, so much know how, passionate engineering and fascinating developments… This is truly the pinaccle of enigeering for audio companies.
