The MSB Audio Transport! How About It?

alas yes what I am asking for a black magic occurs here device that allows using fiber to carry analog signals

There’s some irony in using the words ā€œat low costā€ at this point

Hmmm, yes there is some irony there, when we are talking about a full Sentinel setup, but a 50ft AQ Dragon XLR pair is sadly a fair amount of $ while a 50ft AOC cable is less than $100

The high price of ā€œrespectableā€ analog interconnects is a downside of locating analog front end components remotely (rear or side of the room). If one is willing to to burn their ā€œanalog puristā€ club card by going with the Madison Phono which uses an ADC and applies equalisation using DSP, one can run a long Pro-ISL cable for low cost between Digital Director and Analog Converter up front with active speakers or power amps. Complete separation of analog and digital (sort of).

but the reality is in my case, I have to wait for @Dustin_Symanski and @Daniel_Francis to give me size measurements, heat generation, and then cable length limitations and of course the upgrade cost.

Once I have the data I can determine the best option and change my daydream into a plan.

@Dan it works for Linn as they have a hige history with turntables, a big fanbase and a Linn family that once you’re in, you hardly get out.
