Looks amazing! Is that a pair of Mola Mola Ossetra monoblock? How do you like it?

I spent some time at a friends listing to the new Mola Mola Ossetra and some big Tidals, sounded brilliant amps are quite good.

What Aurender is that in the background?

Should be N30.

The Mola Mola Ossetra monoblocks (on loan from a friend) are exceptionally capable, with state-of-the-art invariance, linearity, neutrality, power and transparency. They are my current benchmarks for auditions and comparisons with “super” monoblock amps.

The Aurender N30 server/streamer (mine) will also be used for comparisons with multiple “super” streamer/servers.

Good Morning, any chance you are going to compare to an N50? the Rendered sounds great but Qobuz connect lacks some features I like in Tidal or the Qobuz application so I am still contemplating a transport/streamer.

Curious on the Mola Mola to M500 as well

Daniel, Jonathan, and Dustin,

As a Partner (Patron) in Crime fortunate to experience this rarefied stratosphere of High End Audio with the Sentinel DAC, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to MSB Technology for bringing me along on this extraordinary journey. I couldn’t be here without you guys and the incredible team at MSB!

I’ll be sharing my thoughts and observations soon, as the Sentinel DAC goes through its break-in process. I’d like to take time to reflect more deeply on how best to present my thoughts in a coherent and organized way, as there are simply too many exciting topics to explore and discuss!

@QuadDiffuser I know you are likely swamped but please share, I know I am and I suspect we are collectively living vicariously through everyone who has a Sentinel and we want to know everything

Actually I have a different question, given that the firmware update elevates the Cascade how much better is the Sentinel after the update. Basically is this a WOW vs OMG or a Holly Batman vs I’m in heaven moment, and again we need people who have experienced both (ie calling out @Dan or @Daniel_Francis to enlighten us)

Beautiful set up. In a separate thread dedicated to the Seismion Reactio 2 pictured in your room, I would love to hear your thoughts on those. But not here to risk a diversion from the more interesting listening impressions of the Sentinel.

Here’s the WBF thread on the Seismion units, where I’ve left several comments: https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/seismion-new-active-isolation-platform-from-germany.35455/page-22#post-1041801

The uniquely optimized acoustics of my listening room, supports the highest resolving power and jitter-extinguishing precision cadence of the Sentinel DAC to recreate a dense, highly articulated, appropriately positioned/sized, and totally credible 3D soundstage that is filled with living and breathing musicians (and their instruments) located beyond not just the sidewalls, but deeply inside/past the front wall.

The soundstage and the rendering of the acoustic space is realistically balanced, with the X, Y, and Z axis perfectly “squared”, rendering acoustic events in their proper proportions (including relative distances and sizes):
