I’m sure installation of a Sentinel DAC would have easily qualified as one of the ancient Twelve Labors of Hercules. The amazing team from Suncoast Audio made short work of the task. My elevator did it’s part also. From the packaging all the way to the finish on the parts, this product exudes quality. It is burning in now silently. I can’t wait to take it for a spin later today. Great job MSB. I’ve had multiple MSB DAC’s over the years but I believe this one will be something special.

Note that it takes at least three days of burn-in for the Sentinel to perform properly, and that it will slowly improve thereafter.
Even though my previous Cascade was a fantastic DAC, the Sentinel is no doubt a superior DAC, as anyone would recognize immediately. At the top level, my experience is that all DACs sound very good, but I do not believe that any competing DAC would give the same emotional engagement as the Sentinel. The dense, ultra-lifelike sound without any harshness and tangible soundstage is addictive.
