Qobuz connect vs. Qobuz through Roon

I would dump Roon and use Qobuz Connect but the latter is terrible for finding classical music albums. Roon’s filter feature is the bare minimum for finding what one is looking for in the classical world. Now if only IDAGIO allowed direct streaming from app to Renderer module.

As a former managing director of the MetOpera and big classical music listener, I must say that I don’t have any problems finding classical music on Qobuz Connect. Deutsche Grammophon seems to be especially well-connected with Qobuz, in that all their weekly releases and playlists are always front and center.

That being said, if you’re like I and have a lifetime membership in Roon, there’s nothing to prevent you from doing your research and exploring on Roon, saving your discoveries on Roon Qobuz, and LISTENING to them later on Connect.

I just put the CH P1 into my system and I am BLOWN away. I can only imagine the P10.

Congratulations on the Sentinel! I cannot wait to hear one.

Thank you for your reply, and I agree with you

Not strictly on topic but one annoyance with Cobuz Connect is that you can’t simply hit play on the remote rather you have to select the source and start playing on your handheld device then transfer over to the DAC, does anyone know a trick to avoid this?
