Hello
Currently have M500’s in system. Incredible!
Any new mono amps or any updates on the horizon?
Thank you

Hello! We are currently working on the Sentinel Amplifiers. That is the design project for the rest of this year. Perhaps in future years we will see if there is some trickle down technology. For now, there are no plans to change the M500’s that are currently shipping.
Thank you Daniel.
appreciate response. And again, all of your components are incredible.
good morning, any timeline on Sentential amplifiers?
and will there be a mono block version?
Thank you
The Sentinel Amplifiers will only be available as Monoblocks. The design so far, is a bit of a wild concept. Really pushing the limits on practicality, but the payoff should be worth it!
Timeline is a bit loose, but we are making progress. I would love to have a prototype later this year. We will need to fully build and listen before comitting these new design concepts to a production cycle.
Thank you
Very exciting
Hello Daniel,
Any updates on Sentinel Amplifiers at this time?
Thank you
Nothing new on the Sentinel amps at this time, still working on shipping Sentinel DAC’s and refining the production pipeline.
We maaaaay have some product news for something at Vienna in June. Just maybe ![]()
Hopefully that Vienna news is a DAC that sits between Premier and Cascade, uses Cascade/Sentinel architecture (full separation of Director and analog converter), and features analog inputs with constant impedance volume control. In other words, the most logical upgrade for existing Reference DAC and Premier DAC users (with or without Directors).

You just described the Cascade. That’s your upgrade from Premier or Reference. I went Reference → Cascade and it was night and day. Remember the Cascade was considerably less expensive that the Select 2 with a Director.
I disagree. There is a lot of room between the cost of the fully kitted Premier and the Cascade.
There’s a lot of room between them in cost, but what features would you want and what would be left for the Cascade only? At a high level it’s the relay/resistor volume, bit diffusion, 3 box solution, 8 DAC modules, Femto 33 Clock - that separates the Premier and Cascade. What would be included into the product that sits between the Premier and the Cascade in your opinion?
Fair question but I have no idea, I am not an engineer.
I thought the Cascade was built on a completely new technology platform. Perhaps use that with less DAC modules???
A fully kitted Premier/PowerBase/Digital Director is a bit less than half the cost of the Cascade. I also don’t see them fitting anything else between them, other than, perhaps, a redone Premier at a higher price point due to some technology improvement. But something between 40k and 90k, substantially better than the premier would undercut the Cascade too much, and no telling how much resources that would require to develop.
Also, these guys don’t seem to do things halfway too much ![]()
If I had some sort of windfall, and spousal understanding, my plan would be to trade up to the Cascade. They do offer a generous trade up policy, or at least they used to.
