I just would like to make this post in praise of the not very often talked about S202 power amp. I must admit that I was a little sceptical about it at first before trying it (I had had a brand new Gryphon Essence Stereo power amp and pre-amp combo - which I liked - for only a year in my system before I demoed the S202 late last summer) but I am very glad that I ended up first demoing it and eventually keeping it - and now absolutely loving it. Besides the beautiful synergy that I have experienced when paired it first with a Reference DAC which I have been demoing last year (and which I am finally getting - to stay yay - hopefully by next week - to endgame my system!) it has also worked wonders with my current Premier DAC, elevating its performance to a level which seriously surprised me. The only DAC it did not really work its magic with, in my opinion, was the Discrete DAC, but only because the Discrete internal pre was not at the level of the one built-in in the Premier - and especially to the one in the Reference of course. And, the S202 is so beautifully quiet when in operation that I now call it “my silent Dragon”. Well, I think I said it already, but I simply love it - long live MSB

Congratulations . U have an end game system for sure . It’s good to know that the Preamp in the Premier is so good. What speakers and cable have you?
