Blue Display Filter

Will this option be available via a SW revision as I think it’s a really nice look!

I believe it’s a piece of film. If I knew what it was I’d love an orange one to match the level meter in my Nagra Phono Preamp.

Red for night vision

@matthewk , happy to work on this with you. We can see if we have a film that will work here and test it out. If it works, you would just need to send back your director and we can update it. You may not care to, but if you send back the powerbase we can tint the power LED as well. Shoot me an email if you want to run this down.

It is indeed a film, we would need your Digital Director and powerbase back. Happy to add it if you cover shipping :+1:

Any chance I can apply the film? Shipping cost in my case is a bit high? Can you also tint the M500?

It will be a bit of work, but with the right tools and a clean workstation it can be done.

You can see here what is required:

ESD protections and a clean workstation are necessary.

@Peter.Bomberg The colored film would get stacked into the display layers that are on screen at 2:32. It can be a little finicky to get these layers to stay together and stay clean while replacing the display boards, but a little bit of gentle compressed or canned air and a clean work bench can go a long way.

Thanks, my guess is we will stick with the white, while I love the blue the truth is we keep the display off so unless it’s switching tracks it’s black anyways. But the main reason for sticking with white is that it matches the amps.
