Hey all! In an effort to share more videos and behind the scenes footage, @Kevin_Turnquist and I are committing to produce a weekly video. Long or short, professional or casual, we are not sure! But, the end goal is to get better at the craft of video production while showing the work it takes to make these products. There is so much to capture and share, I am sure this segment will evolve into something great over the next year.
PS, let us know if you have any better name ideas for the series
This was great! Getting to see the inner workings of what you do does two things. One it justifies the premium for your products to people, unfamiliar with the sound quality. Clearly the work that you put into these things is off the charts. And two it creates a lot of transparency around the engineering, around the work, around how you approach things, it helps us sort of get in your head. I was greatly appreciative of this video. Bravo!
Last video was great! I can’t wait for the wood shop video! @Daniel_Francis the 3d printed model for the box inserts is amazing and it got me thinking. You don’t happen to have a model built for the inside of Festool Systainers do you?
I don’t, but I do use 3D printing in the wood shop constantly. I love the Gridfinity system for bin and tool organization. 3D Printing templates and jigs is a godsend. I am sure there is a Festool library out there though.
Thanks @Dan ! It is definitley a stretch to produce one video a week, but wow! We are learning a lot very quickly. Figuring out a topic to share is the hardest part so far. I want to make sure these stay interesting and useful.
