How do you like the pf ?

Beautiful system, and room. Is the Riviera as good as the reviews indicate?

Yes it is there preamps are for sure some of the best out there and I have testet a lot to see if there was a good. Preamp there was better end the volume control in the Cascade DAC and this is the first of them I have testet.

The Innuos Nazare streamer will become part of my system this week so I can test it against my Pink Faun Ultra 2.16 — I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve also added Ikigai Audio Tanso cables from the preamp to the power amp. Another new addition is a Riviera Audio Labs preamp, the APL1, which has improved the system far more than I expected — the first preamp to do so.

I will pass those on. My first observation is that building a mountain range takes a lot of time… I’m hoping that the peaks will be done by July.

As being today at my dealer AudioXperience in Nuenen The Netherlands l’ve listened (briefly) to the Innuos NazarĆ© (in combination with the S500, Cascade DAC and Magico S3’s), but from my humble first impression is that playing via Qobuz direct brings a slightly wider stage and a bit more warmth to the voice(s). This can Absolutely be a personal opinion.
While being there I’ve mentioned considering an upgrade for a new XLR-interlink… Although my wallet suggested otherwise, my curiosity won. The Crystal Cable Monet is now (temporary) being replaced by a Da Vinci interlink and I’m well impressed. I would like to throw in a phrase here from Good Old Miles Davis; ā€œWe have to keep on cleaning the mirror at each state or levelā€. Dear maestro’s I’m with you on this one: it never ends :innocent:
