Handel Op. 3

I like this performance. Technically, though, I think the it’s imaging is great.

For example, in the last composition in the recording, Concerto Grosso in D major there is an organ part in the second movement. You can tell it’s an organ (by the sound Duh!) because you can hear positions of each of the pipes.

In any case if you like Baroque, this is a good listen.

P.S. Lately I’ve been on an imaging kick that leads me to judge the technical quality of a recording based on it imaging. I started doing that a little bit when I got Cascade, but since Cascade2 (i.e. BDT) has amped up the imaging it teases out of the stream it seems like that is the main component of the Music.

(But, Yes, I do just listen to the music too :grinning:)

Heh, I hear ya. The imaging exploration has been really fun. The Sentinel is taking that to another level. I feel like we are entering a golden era for digital. Having a blast!
