Cascade DAC Review - Audio Art Magazine

I wasn’t aware they gave out perfect scores at Audio Art Magazine, but the Cascade warranted one! The chief editor Jack Liu described it as:
“A performance I never heard before from the reference CDs I listen to every day.”
“I tried to listen to every reference CD while the Cascade DAC is still here to establish my newest standard of SOTA in my mind”
“There are so many rich details in the low frequency range to make it so convincing, so live-like”

A well deserved review. Bravo!

I liked the reviewer’s comment that what came out of the Cascade “scared” him. I guess gobsmacked is the equivalent of scared in Japanese. :grinning:

The Heifetz Living Stereo and Belafonte recording were some of the first things I listened to when I got my Cascade. Both were recorded in the 1950s and much later digitized… and yet the Cascade pulls every bit of music out of them.

Is there an English version or do I just need to Google translate?

Thx!

Nothing less than perfection. Well deserved, compliments.

For the Sentinel review they will have to change the scale of the evaluation system otherwise give it a 12/10 will be not fair :grinning:

Jokes a part, I guess these international recognitions are the things that push your motivation daily. Good good job MSB team !
