Rel high level inputs are designed to be directly connected to the amp/speaker

Actually @Daniel_Francis looking at the MSB design, you have a much better version (and I say that owning 6 pairs of RELs) , however the AirShip is wireless which is what I need for my main system)

Early days in my demo time with the Pro Sub Isolator.
My base system consists of a Block Line stage, two JL Audio Fathom F113v2 subs, Block monos, Premier + DD and an Antipodes K50G4. I am in a constant state of evaluating ways to improve my low end and overall SQ. In addition, I have been menaced with a ground hum in my phono stage. Although I recently identified the culprit, I am still interested in what impact the Pro Sub Isolators would have.
Let me start by saying the fit and finish is as professional and elegant as you would expect. Setup was a breeze. Using the HIGH gain settings, Connecting the speaker cables to the extra set of outputs on my mono blocks, and an XLR from the Isolator to my subs took only a few minutes.
in addition to my ears, which clearly heard a dramatic difference, I also tracked that difference down using REW. What I first heard was significantly less bass than my standard setup. REW clearly showed that to be a gain issue. The Isolators were 7 - 9 dB lower gain than the outputs of my Line Stage. Didn’t expect that.
After putzing with that, I was able to match the outputs in REW with and without the Isolators. With REW showing the same output within +\-1dB across 18hz to 120hz, my ears couldn’t hear any differences between my base system and using the isolators.
But as I started this post, this is early days. I want to test other things. For example, I can recreate my ground loop by connecting a Keces P3 linear power supply into my Shunyata Everest. I am curious if not connecting the subs to the Line stage by using the isolators, helps that.
I will also try using the medium GAIn setting on the Isolators.

After a few days, it’s clear the Sub Isolators are a solid product with a narrow but important use case. I haven’t found the Isolators to improve my system versus using the second XLR outputs of my battery powered preamp, but, if I didn’t have such a nice preamp, and wished to use my MSB DAC’s volume control AND wanted to integrate subs such as mine, these would be a best in class option.
