Importance of cnc machined chassis

My msb discrete always gives me sliky and analogue like sounds, and to my ears it stands out among other brand’s r2r dacs.
in addition to electronical things like the mainboard, I am curious if the machined chassis makes any sonic differences.
(Of course love the looks and feelings of the machined chassis)

As the mechanical engineer here, I would love to credit the unibody for a lot of the sound, but really, it is the electronics. Unibodies comes with a lot of great benefits, including being a heavy mass, less resonances, stable, less seams which all do help, but it only takes you so far. For me though, they are beautiful, which adds to the experience and makes the investment worth it

Thank you for the clarificarion how far the unibody contributes for the good sound of msb. I think the constriction and finish of msb is the best of the industry and I love it !
