We are pleased to announce our Network Renderer module is now JPlay certified. This brings verified and bit perfect JPlay functionality to any of our DAC’s that feature the Network Renderer V2 module. This includes:

- The Sentinel DAC (Upcoming)

- The Cascade DAC

- The Select DAC

- The Reference DAC

- The Premier DAC

- The Discrete DAC

- The Analog DAC

- The DAC V

- The DAC IV+

- The DAC IV

The Jplay experience brings seamless and wonderfully convenient playback options for your system. With in-app volume control and nearly endless streaming options, I have found myself using my system more than ever. If you haven’t had the chance, it is well worth checking out.

What is the sound difference with the network renderer using Roon (or something other than JPLAY) vs JPLAY as the end point?

Good question. I haven’t determined a noticeable difference myself, this is just another option. The better our products get, the more similar source to source sounds.
