Does have any experience with CJ gear? I am upgrading my office setup and thinking of a ART27A with a Palisade vs the ART27A/ET7-S2 with a Premier, the speakers will be Audiovector R8’s and all cabling Audioquest Firebird
If you are going the VT route have you thought about VAC? They are similar to CJ in that their products are designed and built in Florida with only high quality components used.

I have not but solely because a good friend of mine happens to be the CJ dealer, unless you feel sonically they are superior?
I would bet it’s a to’may’to - to’mah’to thing.
I THINK most CJ gear is RCA connections only. I would check.
I don’t know that they are superior to CJ, but by reputation they are considered to be among the very best. There are many similarities to CJ. Founder started company because he was dissatisfied with existing high end audio. Hand built and I think all products are point to point wired. All products tube based. Founder, Kevin Hayes, still runs the company and has a strong background in electronic design. All products, even those in for repair, are tested to meet spec’ are auditioned by Kevin to insure SQ and reworked if necessary. Products are burned in before final testing.
I haven’t heard a VAC yet, but based on reputation I have a phono preamp on order from them… 2 1/2 months and counting
. I knew that going in, but that is the only that they can build to the quality level they maintain.

I’ve had Conrad Johnson equipment most of my life. I now own the art 88 preamplifier and the art 150 amplifier with the MSB reference DAC, with aurender N20 streamer. To me it sounds just amazing.!!
@Mark thank you, any thoughts on the sound, compared to solid-state, warmer, richer, …
I am looking forward to hearing my upgraded office system but it might be April or later before I have it fully upgraded.
