# Cascade dac problem after update

hi everyone
yesterday the cascade did restart by itself when
i’m watching tv on the analog input bypass.
it’s very weird after an update.

Interesting. After the restart did it continue to work? Any chance do you see a message on the screen before the restart?

no i didn’t see if there was a message before.
my eyes where on the screen and suddenly there was no sound.
after i do the restart myself the dac return to normal

Are the units hot to the touch? Warm is okay, but if they are very hot please change the way they are stacked/stored. It could have also been a microscopic glitch in your power that triggered the DAC to restart vs anything else. Please let me know if it does it again.

until now it didn’t happen again.
i will follow it.
as for the heat, at the end of day without air conditioner the power base is hot to touch.
the control unit that is on a separate shelf is not hot so much.
i will be in touch with you if something will happen.

today it’s happened again when i was watching tv but i fell asleep
